Independent Narrative Direction (NYC Based)

MY PHILOSOPHY:

I specialize in directing indie films with small crews & modest budgets. I enjoy working intensely throughout the process with writers, DP's, and actors in order to craft a vision that beautifully & effectively underscores the story. I will make myself available from the inception of a project in the beginning stages of pre-production all the way through post if that suits your team's needs.

Its important to me to forge lasting relationships with the creatives I work with on set, and I prioritize crafting unique and supportive environments that break free from precedent. I will actively advocate for sets under my jurisdiction to remain safe and inclusive spaces.

WORK THAT INTERESTS ME:

​

• Stories that suspend the world of beyond recognition in order to zero in on the philosophies & narrative are my favorite to work on. Period pieces, high fantasy, sci- fi & dystopia are all projects I'm game to tackle. 

​

• Contemporary projects that amplify untold stories and enable quieted voices are a priority for me. I work heavily within the LGBTQIA+ cinema community.​

​

• Any work overlapping with theatrical projects & spaces. My training and work has always been deeply based in theatrical practice and philosophy.

Additionally, I have a full crew at hand if you're needing to fill any other positions on set, include any requests in your project pitch and I will forward their rates & information.

DEALBREAKERS:​

• If there is intimacy pictured in the project, I will request a qualified intimacy director to join on set.

• If there is combat, please hire a stunt/ combat choreographer. This ensures injuries are far less likely to occur.
